Gillian Gibbons, who has made front page news in the UK as the TEFL teacher in the Sudan who got jailed for naming a teddy bear 'Mohammed'

Well at TEFL.com, they were advertising a vacancy for a teaching job in the Khartoum in the Sudan! Laughing But TEFL.com seems to be down at this moment! Evil or Very Mad

Now it is back up and the ad is still up!! They need a replacement for Gillian... does anyone fancy it?

We offer remuneration of 15,000 US Dollars per annum, including rent subsidy, plus overtime at generous rates when work available. We also offer comprehensive, medical and repatriation cover and we pay for inoculations and flights (return flight on completion of contract).

Ee, it's not a bad wage considering it's Sudan. Tha'd 'ave nought to spend it on, would yer? So tha could save a pretty penny. And it would be a lot more interesting than Korea I should think. If I were single and childless I'd probably consider it (I always were a reckless bugger). I think tha should go fer it lad!
