|
|
I'm sure many people on here have renewed their US passport by mail while living in Korea.
I'm just wondering how long the process takes. I can't find anything on the embassy page about the length of time you need.
I know it took like 6 weeks to get my first passport, so I'm hoping it's not that long again. |

| In July of 2005, my passport expired. It took about 2-4 hours of hurry up and wait. But I got it on the spot. Make sure you have the right sized pictures! |

| I renewed mine a month ago. I am far from Seoul so I used a courier service (Hanjin) I think. I thought it would take forever. The company picked up my passport on a Wednesday and I had it back the next Monday. The courier service was cheap. I think 10,000. Follow the directions on the US embassy website... |
