I am.

I just can't ignore the stupidity.

The word "sock" gets thrown around a lot here and I'm always the last to realize it. I don't know, I guess I'm just too normal. I barely have enough time to spend here as just "Newbie" let alone come on with a different persona. How the heck do they do it? Do they really have such empty lives that they need to pull this stuff?

I'm still not convinced komerican is actually a sock. I think she really believes in everything she "argues".

My old dear sent me a bundle of woolly socks the other week.

I'm forever grateful to her for them

I love the sock trucks. I wish I was young enough and girly enough to wear some of those socks.

I hate my socks. They keep drinking all of my beer.

An ironic post I suspect.

He claims to have barely enough time to post as his first online persona, whom all the same has enough time to write a truly pointless post such as this...

I thought this was going to be a thread about Christmas presents/Teachers' Day presents from students...was going to chime in that I haven't had to buy dress socks in years, thanks to my students' generosity....

Yeah, I am a sucker for the other kind too at times...I got pulled into two or three threads this week, arguing with puppets Embarassed

It's the mod socks that are annoying.

Quote:
Mod Socks

The modular method in my Mod Socks design isnt actually new, just new again I came across the method in an early 70s sock book. The modular sections are set up by knitting groups of stitches and decreasing them up to a point. Then, beginning at the bottom of the V between 2 modules, picking up the starting number of stitches and working rows, increasing by picking up a st off the selvedges of the lower pieces. Then, once the new piece is level with the points from the lower pieces, working decreases until the new piece is worked up to a point.

Yeah I don't mind those dress socks at all. When it really gets cold out, you slip those on plus your normal socks giving you extreee warmth.

But Newbie is me! I don't hide anything, I'm not pretending to be someone I'm not in the hopes of getting people riled up. Although, from time to time I will say the odd thing to piss people off.

Some socks can be pretty damn funny.

But when they get personal I draw a line there.

Here we go again with the annual middle class hate mongering. Has it been a year already?

Stocking lovers have rights too. Perhaps if the mule-class stopped spending money on samgyupsal and soju they could afford to buy some decent hosiery.

It seems that as winter sets in the sock haters come out. If you don't like foot gloves then move to a warmer place.

I love this time of year because I get to show off my entire collection of knee hugging leg mufflers.

It took me a billion years to realize the Yonsama image on socks wasn't a woman. Yeah, you've really arrived in Korea when you appear on socks.

Socks and trolls keep the site interesting. There was one sock (Ooops- I just wrote a "c" instead of an "s") I really liked, but he was outed and then disappeared. Crying or Very sad I don't know who you were Big Black Eqqus, but I liked you...
