Just asking opinions. I have been here in korea for almost 7 years. I am going home in Janauary.

I have only taught in hagwons; this is because I adore little kids, age 5 and6 are the age I love. I have taught grades K - 7 in America.

I havd taught an adult class for almost one year here, and that was a fantastic experience. I loved them.

Anyway, I am going home cause my dad wants me there for a while. He is 81 and said he wants to spent time with me. Also my mom, who is 80. really wants me home also, They are not married, but dad said I should live with him and then go and visit mom. They are 3 hrs away from eachother, but there are trains and express buses. that is a lot closer then Kroea!

I want to come back t Asia for a year, but I want some place other then Korea. I really do like it here, but I want some thing new.

I do not have a Masters, but I have a BA, plus a teaching licence from NY.

Does anyone know what country may be a good place to go to for one year, where I can save some money, and have a nic experience?

By the way, I am 55.

I'd look into international school opportunities if I had your qualifications and experience.

The Hong Kong NET scheme (I think still does) only take folks with a teaching license and I will fancy that when I too am a qualified teacher in the near future.
