Emart all the way. Mini decorated tree - 40,000, bulbs, decorations, tinsel - 1,000 each, lights 15,000. Costco also has some stuff but it's more expensive and bigger as would be expected.

Merry xmas.

HomEver and GS Mart also have a lot of decorations. Most of them are tacky, but if you dig around, you can find some decent stuff. I think half the fun is laughing at the tacky stuff.

The express bus terminal (고속터미널) on the orange line, 3rd floor I think, have an unbelievable selection of christmas decorations, and one can also haggle. They not only sell all the traditional decors, but some rather contemporary ones as well. I thoroughly enjoyed walking around there shopping last year.

Instead of a putting up a Christmas tree, I like to just stare at out my window at the gray, windswept cityscape and think about how my life is silently sinking into horrible, lonely oblivion. Also, scented candles are nice.

I got my Christmas tree at a little florist shop. It was super cheap, under 20,000 W and already fully decorated. It's not very big, but it sure was convenient. Smile
