Can anyone tell me how I can ask for cough drops in Korean? My local pharmacy speaks only Korean. Yesterday I was able to get a nasal decongestant from him (I think).
Also, any tips to keep from getting sick? My school is so damn cold! I probably could've toughed it out today if we had adequate heating, but the cold office would have definitely made me worse and completely miserable.
I am sooooo worthless today. |

| Any Family Mart, 7-11, or GS25 should carry Halls around where the gum and chocolate bars are. |

| The pharmacy right by the McDonalds at the the Express bus terminal has some stronger cough drops from the States. I'm sorry but I forget the name of the product. I just showed them a packet of Halls and asked for stronger stuff. |

| I've seen western cough drops for sale at the pharmacy at COEX (line 2, samsung station). There should be a reasonable level of english there. Also if you're looking for some good sore throat lozenges, the Westin Chosun in downtown near city hall has some for sale at their newspaper store. |

I brought some Fishermens' Friends-pure crap.
AS far as Halls go, I wouldn't count every Family Mart, but 7-11 has always got them.

Almost all pharmacies have Halls. Look around for them and try out your best Konglish "Holll...suh."
Daiso also has them at a great price. I think last winter they were W500 for the stick (I've never seen them in a bag here.)
Has anyone seen sugar-free cough drops here?
I generally prefer the "menthol action" over the drugs in other cough medicines. But...has anyone gotten any guaifenecin product here? (The active ingredient in most Robitussin formulae, but I'm really looking for the pills, like Mucinex.) Is it OTC or RX?

Looking at website on the package of the Haben Forte I just bought, I found that Haben Power does have guaifenecin.
