Sensationalism. Beck speaks neither for the American govt not the armed forces. |

Very true. But, the millions of mouth-breathers that believe every word out of his mouth unfortunately have votes.
More than anything, the attempt to link anti-war types with OBL shows just how dangerous the nutty right (your party, BTW) feels Ron Paul and his ideas are. You don't attack someone you don't fear. |

seems to be a growing trend, initiated by those that speak for the American govt.
ever heard of this?
The Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007, S. 1959.
9-11 truth websites have been included, including:
Architects and Engineers for 9-11 Truth (ae911truth.org).
here is a response from ae911truth.org
Quote: |
AE911Truth.org is extremely concerned about the recent portrayal of our peaceful organization and website by the Simon Wiesenthal Center alongside Taliban militant websites at the recent "Homeland Security Hearing" hosted by Congresswoman Jane Harman. By implication we and other 9/11 Truth organizations are branded as terrorists. We are therefore actively pursuing non-legal and legal remedies. |
so although RON PAUL is not included on the list, linking him to terrorism, or homegrown terrorism is simply echoing what is being suggested by your government in response to people challenging the notion that 'all is well' or 'business as usual'. |

But there is no need to attack someone who will not survive the first primaries.
Further, the only people I ever hear citing these sensationalist, far-right talkshow hosts are people on the far left who watch and/or listen to their shows to cultivate and maintain their outrage and indignation. Ever wonder whether you just might be their primary market sector...? |

If there is no need, they why do they do it? It is because the ideas themselves are a threat to the comfortable little scam they have going on.
And the reason that you only hear the "far left" cite the very mainstream shows like Glen Beck (who is on CNN) is because the rest of the herd simply takes what they say as truth and moves on. |

The the military ought to be used against domestic "threats" posing as Ron Paul supporters. I know, you only care about the civil liberties of people with whom you agree. |

He started with
1) the military takes an oath to protect the constitution from foreign and domestic threats
Then
2) goes on to define Ron Paul supporters as domestic threats.
Do you think he lead with that as a coincidence? |

Wow, crazy paranoia. And do you actually take Glenn Beck serious? He's as wacky as his far right counterparts. |

Glenn Beck poses as if he is on the left. If you watch him enough he isn't. He's as much on the right as the rest of them. All those guys who make a living as opinion makers and talking heads are suspect. |
