Anybody have the new Ipod touch? Does the internet function work here in korea? It has wifi but just want to be sure it works before I buy one. It didnt seem to work in the store when I tried searching the net. Question

I got one last month... all you need to do is be near a WiFi hotspot, of which there are thousands, in Seoul alone.
Try it again at the store. First, on the main menu screen, touch 'settings', then 'general', then 'wifi'.
The ipod will search for networks and ask if you want to join one.

Even in Daegu, i have almost no problems finding a WiFi network to hook into.

I had the same concerns when trying instore, but it was just a matter of changing the settings.

It's worked fine in every cafe I've been in.

Ok, ok. I do want an iPod Touch. It'd be useful to have the added ability of internet access to my iPod.

Yeah, it pretty much works about 80% of the time for me. Oddly enough, it doesn't seem to work on my cheapo ZIO router at home. Don't know what the deal is with that.
