I've been offered a contract at a school in Songpa.
I tried to look up info but didn't come across too much.
Can anyone living there give me an insight as to what life would be like there?

I want to be in a city environment where I wouldn't feel too isolated and there are things to do (hmm..i guess that's what everyone wants).

Also, what are some things that I should stock up on before heading to Korea (which i would not be able to get at all)?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Cheers!

Songpa is a good area. It is modern, clean and is a wealthy area (well, not all of it). It is close to Gangnam but far from the rest of the city.

It's a fairly yuppie place. I recall going to a regular convenience store there and bottles of beer were 1600 won each. Where I lived at the time, Guro, I could get them for 1200.

There are also a lot of parks in Songpa, and you can get out of the city quickly. It is also a useful transportation hub if you are into winter sports.

It is also home to a few professional sports teams.
