I thought that too when I read it last night as I used to get TB tests in the military where they inject a small bubble of something under your skin in your arm and if it is still there like 2 days later, you have TB.
I wonder if it is common for Koreans to be drug tested for using cannabis sativa? Are they going to do piss cup tests with the little strips? Most military soldiers get those in the military once every 6 months, but since I was mission critical status as a heavy hitting cook, I didn't have to get them and Amsterdam was very fun on my holidays. I did have to take one to enlist, but I wasn't doing any cannabis. Don't smoke anything within 30 days of expecting to have a test. No weed in Korea with a few exceptions in Seoul (that were busted last September), so this should not be a problem for most sojourners in Korea.
Are they going to do a liver toxicity test for alcohol consumption? This is really funny as Korea is in a constant state of drunkenness. Don't drink within 3 days of the medical if they are since this will disqualify you as an alcoholic. |

Not sure what the acronym is but a cursory google showed it to be a methamphetamine test, I think. |

Oh, my mistake. It's a tuberculosis test.
But hey, my mistake gave somebody a chance to make another snide comment! All part of my day's work. Glad to help. |
