my girlfriend and i are thinking of going to thailand during winter vacation. She is the scheduling type, and i am the chill and be spontaneous type. She wants a tour, and since the tours are mostly 3-5 days she wants to only stay for that long. i would rather stay more like 2 weeks. is it easy to find an english speaking guided tour once we have been on the beaches for a few days without scheduling something ahead of time? i want to relax and rent some bikes and explore by ourselves and then do what she wants....a tour. can anyone help me out with how to go about this? |

Head to the northeast and see a different Thailand.
Take the local orange buses. get on and off, use the trains as well.
forget VIP and tours. |
