Laughing Laughing Laughing I hope you have your tickets already. Koreans book their flights there 364 days in advance. Hotels are also near full during the entire Christmas-New Years period.

I spent last year in the philippines hoping to go Manila then Palawan or Cebu. I ended up just staying mostly in Manila and a nearby island at a resort area called Puerta Galera.

In Manila you better watch out this time of year. They will try to cheat you out of money. Always expecting a big tip. Saying its christmas and stuff. I am of Philippine heritage and got charged a huge fee for my first night accomodation. Nearly 150% above the rate cuz i didnt book ahead of time. IT was my fault cuz i came in like at 11pm and turned to the hotel cab guy, who also charged me a huge fee for taxi . Cuz he got a cut and so did the taxi guy. Main area in manila is near manila bay. There plenty of rooms. But its good to book ahead. Prices are not cheap in the philippines. Slightly less than Korea motels but not as nice. Its not cheap. Food is though.

I recommend booking the first night and if you dont like it or its too expensive, go somewhere else. There should be a lot of availability.
