You said that because they use aluminium wiring, Airbus 380's will start to drop from the sky in 10 years.

I showed you that Boeing also use aluminium wiring - in the 787 at least, probably the 747-8 too.

So, my question to you is - with their aluminium wiring, will 787's fall from the sky in 10 years too?

No, the Airbus 380 uses ALL aluminium wiring. Aluminium deterioates and will burn much quicker that copper. Am I wrong?

Both Boeing and Airbus use alumunium wiring.

Why is that a problem only on airbuses?

It has do do with what wiring, Airbus has ALL aluminium on the 380 in order to save weight. Boeing uses SOME aluminium on the new planne, but nowhere near 100%

Copper wiring does not degrade or burn like aluminium. it's really that simple

It's ok to use aluminum for for noncritical wiring but not OK for other uses. Aluminium deterioates, its just that simple.

Copper stands strong.....

So which is the so-called non-critical wiring in the 787 where aluminium replaces copper?

If you are not an aeronautical engineer, why say something like "they will start droping out of the sky in 10 years"?

Because I understand aluminium wiring vs. copper

I see.

So what is the specification for the Boeing wiring and how does that differ from the Airbus?
