I suppose it's designed for those with a huge monitor. All that memory.
If you have a 24'' screen or less it probably wouldn't perform any better than an 8800GT 256MB. |

Seriously, anyone wanting a great new video card should wait just a few more weeks until nVidia and ATI have all their new cards in full production and the street-prices start to come down. Right now is a terrible time to buy. |

| Actually I was wrong about the "S". Still, a crying waste. The only card that would benefit from 1GB of GDDR is the ultra something and it would need at least a 512 bit bus to be effective. |
