I teach a T/W/TH lunch class at Seoul Metro HQ (free lunch in the cafeteria afterwards. The lunch lady has the hots for me, so I get extra vittles in my soup of the day!!). I haven't heard anything about a strike as of now, but I'll ask when I go tomorrow.
They only operate half of the lines, but off-hand I can't remember which ones. I think its the ones you mentioned (some other quasi-government company operates the other lines).
Since I don't drive to that class, but generally take the subway, I will tell them they still have to pay me if I don't show up due to a strike.
Sorry, but my paychecks cannot be dependent on an annual Korean strike season. |
