aside from the price, i'm concerned about the age. if this is a newish camera (despite being an old model), then you won't be too concerned about battery life and general wear on the camera. if it was bought right around when it first hit the market, that makes this a three year old camera (or more).
when selling an older model, i think it would be useful to know the age as well. |

It's about 2 years old... As for battery life, the original has about 60% left so I bought me a second battery...
I've checked on Danawa and there are only 4 or 5, the cheapest being 350 for the body only, not that the kit lense is expensive... |

cbclark4, the lens you're looking at is the IS version, not the 300D kit lens (which I think goes for about $50-100).. |
