My wife has asked for a laptop for Christmas, with the specific instructions that it must be 'wified'. I think she means that she wants to be able to go on the internet while on the move. Is this correct? Are there laptops that you can connect to the internet while on the subway or out and about?

If so, could anyone recommend one for me that doesn't cost more than 750,000won and is not a huge brick.

I have little clue when it comes to laptops so all help advice is greatly appreciated!

Cheers!

90% of new laptops will come with "Wi-fi." Just ask the guy selling it to make sure. You probably won't be able to use internet on the subway, but anywhere there's a wireless network you can. (Mostly coffee shops and such)

Have to know what she'll be using it for to recommend specific parts or model.

That eee Pc looks ok. Where can you buy them from? Any ideas?

Tahnks again.

Is another small light one just linked on that page.

I did find a Lenovo outlet the other day. Not sure if it ships to here.

Basically most laptops are wireless.

I can't think of any that don't have Wifi.

That other one in the link is available.

I have no idea about what is available at the low end for that money.
