Tearing my hair out to find a place to go for a good old fashioned Xmas feast and all the hotels websites a plain rubbish!!! So any suggestions are welcome, money isnt really an issue, quality is! If there is any places outside of Seoul that worth checking out let me know, anywhere near Incheon would be awesome!

Many thanks!

Is there such a place, really?

I have NEVER had a home-cooked style meal in Korea. Hopefully someone can help you out.

intercontinental @ COEX

Turkeys with all the extras 160,000W - 180,000W take out (which can be ordered until the end of the year) OR they do a Christmas buffet for 50,000W per head, apparently the buffet includes turkey, sushi and whole bunch of other stuff even wine

I went to the Intercontinental last year and the food was great, just wanted to see if there was somewhere different as it is quite a ways away.

No. The dinner SET feeds quite a lot of mouths - as many as 15 I am told.

OP, we go to the Hilton every year. The chef there is also the chef that makes all the English puddings (apple crumble, jam roly-poly, spotted dick, etc.) for the Pudding Club... so we like going there. It's around 40K per person plus tax and services.

Christmas dinner will be held at my house. We have the luxury of owning a full size oven. This year we cooked a full bird, and it was delicious. Bought the bird either at Hannam market, or Hadden house both located in Hannam-dong. Think it was 50,000 won. I also noticed that they have boneless turkey. So, we might do a Turkey breast roast for Christmas. You might be able to do the boneless turkey breast in a toaster over if you have one.

Hope you get your fixings.

We have a full size oven, but I still like to go out for Christmas Lunch, actually, not dinner, because I don't want the hassle of cooking and doing the dishes afterwards!
