i've gone to the green turtle massage place in itaewon for massages for a long time, but this was a first tonight:
there's no need to go into too much detail...basically, i was molested by a new male masseuse there. i went in for a massage and was groped,grabbed, and massaged unprofessionally and inappropriately twice. put together with a few comments on beauty and race, i felt completely disgusted. i walked out and told the guy at the front desk...i wish i could've told a woman, but he runs the place pretty much. what pissed me off the most: he kept his eyes down while i told him quite loudly and tearfully what happened. he didnt do anything about it. he apologized and said it wouldnt happen again, but i wish he'd fired him right there or punched him or something. *beep* i wish i'd punched the fucking dick.
my friends and i were all good customers... |

Why did you let him carry on? Why did you scream the first time he did it and demanded a change of masseuse?
I feel for you - but I can't help but think that if you did take it so seriously, you would've stopped him half way during the massage and not until the end. |

A very similar message appeared about a guy who did massages some place above Coffee Bean (back then it was the Burger King) in Itaewon a few years ago.
I wonder if it's the same guy. |

I wonder:
If a man goes in to get a massage and a girl is giving him one, and starts "touching" him in various private places, typically said guy not only doesn't complain, he is glad at the "extra" service.
Perhaps, the guy thought he was just providing you with the same thing? |

honestly, i've never been put in that situation before. i'm young and yes maybe i should've screamed but i thought it was my fault. at first, i thought it was a misunderstanding...i said harder while he was massaging my thigh (he was barely touching it) and i thought maybe he thought i said higher. stupid thing to think...and maybe i shouldve used korean, but if someone talks to me in english first, that's what i use. i bolted upright and glared at him and said that's not okay. i thought maybe he had a few weird requests (as a masseur in america, he shouldnt've honored those requests). then it happened again and i just paniced a little. i wish i'd punched him, and i thought i could if something like this ever happened, but i couldnt. i turned into a big coward. |

That's awful to hear.
I'd be weary of a female going to a massage place that has males performing them. I'd suggest you go to one that is all female employed. There are a lot in Seoul and my girlfriend goes to one of them. |

Dude seriously. That's pretty insenstive.
Didn't you ever read the book "Men Like to be touched up by chicks they don't know; Women feel violated when random guys do it though" ? It's a classic in the field.
Partly because of its rhyming title but mostly because its true. Men really are from I-Like-Chicks-To-Jerk-Me-Off-Even -When-I-Don't-know-them and women ARE from if-a-dude-i-don't-know-and-don't-like-touches-me-I'm-gonna-
wanta-cut-his-balls-off.
These experiences are subjective based on gender and orientation. Most of the guys I know who like to be j*cked off by random chick masseuses get uncomfortable when it's a dude masseur grabbing their half-a-chopstick.
If that dude wants to touch up chicks he should go work at TinPan or some dodgy bar in Itaewan. |
