Hi all,

Here are the specs of the laptop:

SPECS:
CELERON 550 mhZ
128 MB ram
6 GB hdd
windows xp

I was thinking 80,000WON is a fair price. What do you think?

Also, I have a question (something I have never experienced before):

If you have a PC that requires a password in order to proceed past the windows screen and you don't have the required password, can you just reformat the laptop and erase the old OS and replace it with the new OS? Or, will it not let you reformat the disk because you need the password? Thanks.

it's worth about 500 won to me. it's pretty much useless as a computer and would make a great paperweight.

Yes reformatting will solve your problems. But I'm sure if you google there will be a better though more difficult solution.

My brother in law had a problem with that last summer. There's a way to reset the password, but you'll have to google it.

If you can cram a lot more ram in that thing, an set XP to run in it's classic mode, you'd have a faster machine than you expect.

If it has a PCMCIA NIC and a battery that lasts more that 10 minutes in it I'll offer 50k.

Still, it works for Word, the net...basic, but it works. I have a ethernet card, so its all good.

You should just be able to enter safe mode when you boot, that will bypass the password and put you in admin mode. From there you can delete or change any password.

I have to do this at school a lot b/c students put passwords on the computers in the library and no one else knows how to fix it.

They came with a variety of processors.

I had 2 of them. 1 was a P3-500 and the other was a P3-550.
Yours was/is a C-450 and C.L's is a C-550.
