Last year when I was applying for my public school job I used a crimnial background provided by a private company. Do you think this would be sufficient for immigration? This is an example of such a company:

You might fail the test when you get it notarised. Since it's nothing official, then your JP, or whoever might refuse it.

Forgot to mention that I'm in Korea so there is no way to have it notarized by a JP. Are these regulations even going to pass?

I am in Korea teaching the last part of my hagwon contract and applied for a public school job recently through a recruiter. The recruiter told me to get my police record check on line since I was not at home to do it. Nothing has been said about apostille on police check or diploma yet, but another recruiter said the new rules go into effect next Monday.

How does this effect applications in process?
