My girlfriend told me that a subway conductor died a few days ago when he was apparently hit by another subway. She said that the conductors are allowed to take a bathroom break once every 4 or 5 hours. The operator had serious stomach problems and couldn't wait long enough, so he tried to leave a load on the subway tracks, only to fall over and be hit by an oncoming train. It sounded like total BS, and I haven't seen anything in the news, but she was completely serious. Is there any truth to this?

When she told you, did you burst out laughing like I just did?
If it is true they deserve a Darwin award.

Word to the wise: If you are a train conductor, bring yourself a bottle to pee in and a pot to shit in.

I hope it is not true.

A few days ago my girlfriend was waiting for the subway after work and she said that she had to wait a long time for the train because apparently someone got hit while on the tracks. I don't know if it was a train conductor though. She said it took a long time for the trains to get going again because they had to remove the body.

I've heard that throwing oneself in front of subway trains has been a common way to commit suicide in Korea.

Since students just took their final exams I would suspect that at least one of them would opt to be crushed by a train...

I don't know about any "Darwin award", but Darwin himself is probably reaping his "reward" for propaging atheistic philosophy by suffering in hell.
