Okay, so I went to the post office. I'm mailing for my state cimrinal check and inclosed the fee/form, etc. Now I need to put in a self-addressed pre-stamped envelope to get the letter back, right?

They gave me a certificate thing and charged me for it. It's written in Korean. Apparently the US peeps are supposed to take it to the post office in the US and they will send it here after converting it. I doubt they will do that.

Are there no international stamps here? Is there a place I can buy international stamps valid in the US and have them shipped to me?

don't use the post office, use DHL or FEDX. More expensive, but more reliable as well.

Okay, so can I get a prepaid DHL/FedEx envelope and include it inside the one I send? Where can I find a DHL/FedEx store anyone know?

I live in Cheohno Dong in the east part of Seoul.

If I have to do one I will just have it mailed to my mother's
house in Kansas and then have her mail it to me.

There is something called an International Reply Coupon that you can get from the post office. In Korean it should be 국제 반신 우표권 or 국제반신권 or "kukje banshin (upyeon) gweon" This is probably what you have.

You enclose it with a self-addressed envelope and send it off. The recipient takes the envelope and the coupon to the post office and exchanges it for the stamps needed to mail the letter back to you.

You may need to explain to the recipient how to use an IRC. I don't know how widely they are used.

Hope this helps.
