We run tommorrow at 10 AM meeting at OKSU station at exit 1. Please be a bit patient as our stalwart leader sometimes gets totally hammered the night before and is known to be a bit late.
The run and social after is a 5000 won affair. We normally have 1 to 2 ten gallon kegs of beer. Most of the time we have both a running trail and a walking trail.
I have bad knees myself so I tend to walk on the running trail after running a mile or two.
Come join us tommorrow for some fun in the cold morning air of Seoul Korea! |

Oh yeah there will be a chalked trail from exit 1 OKSU station to the start point.
Also for first time hashers the trail and beer is free.
The only limit on beer consumption is the beer running out.
ON ON to the beer! |

We are a bit more enlightened these days. We stop using kimchi to mark our running trails after we found Koreans eating our markers.
Now we use chalk or shredded paper. |

This is a very funny visual. Some adjoshi is walking down the trail, sees some random kimchi lying there, pulls some chopsticks out of his waterproof jacket, squats down, eats the kimchi, moves on. Sees another piece.... |

most of the Koreans are pretty cool with our club. It has been going strong for several years now. They tend not to get to bothered with a mob of waygooks running down the street screaming, "RU" or "ON ON" or, "BEER STOP".
Come on out the fun starts in about 20 to 30 minutes at exit 1 of OKSU station.
Of course next week we have our Christmas Toys for Tots hash. Good fun for everyone involved.
ON On. |

Just a reminder that the Toys for Tots hash will be occuring this weekend. The starting point will be relatively close to Itaewon. It is a charity event where you bring a 10,000 won toy in exchange for beer and a hashing patch.
First timers, virgin hashers, are of course more than encouraged to come out for the event. More than likely the down down, after party, will be hosted near an apartment. This should allow for relief from the cold and use of a bathroom.
Check the link in the OP for more details that will be avaliable by Wed night the latest.
ON On! |

Funny story. They used to use flour but now can't due to an antharax scare.
Actually, if you like running, it's a lot of fun. I have been out a few times.

Yes the Korean police and the 8th US Army got involved in that mess. Thankfully it was quietly resolved. Now we use chalk and shredded paper to avoid any sudden.. umm.. scares? |

This week's start point shall be at Triangle Park near Noksapyeong station at 10 AM on saturday. We anticipate a brisk 45 minute to 1 hour long trail involving numerous dangers no limited to alligators, rabid wolves, horny toads, and Klingons with Phaser cannons.
This will not deter us from making it to the down down to consume copious quantities of our beverage of choice, which of course is beer.
Mo' beer the better is my belief.
To get to triangle park you can use the map posted on the free webs page(see OP).
Should you direly need directions or assistance please email me and I will render what aid that I can.
