I was also looking for a battery for mine (SEN640) and the guy at the Samsung service center (Seohyun station) told me to dig around the used laptop / laptop repair shops in Yongsan and I might be able to find an aftermarket one. Samsung does NOT have batteries for it any more.
If you find one / some, let me know. If I find one, I will pass it on to you too. |

Can you not get the cells changed here?
In Thailand you can go to Phanthip plaza and there are people there who will open the battery up and replace the cells.
Costs about 1000B all in. Maybe less. Not 100% guaranteed. If it doesn't work they will then buy the cells back for 50B less each,
I think it's 200B per cell
Been a long time since I did it.
Damn sight cheaper than buying a new battery or machine. |
