|
|
This is John's roommate.
I am a Canadian who is currently working in Korea on an H1 working holiday visa. It is a 4 month visa and I am interested in extending it for a few (2-3) more months. It expires at the end of this year. Does anyone know how I can get this done and if they are usually open to extensions?
Any information will be useful. Thanks. |

H1's are usually 1 year sojourn after entry... Are you sure about a 4month stay and DID YOU REGISTER (get your ARC)?
.... your local immigration office should be able to fix you up. |

What is the expiry date on your ARC?
2 dates on your ARC under your photo. The 1st is the issue date. The 2nd is the expiry date.
Your ARC governs your stay in Korea, NOT your visa. You MUST depart no later than midnight of the expiry date of your ARC or get it extended at your local immigration office. An H1 can be extended to a maximum stay of 1 year.
If you want to make a change, you have to go to your local immigration office. |
