|
|
My friend's married his friend [both are Canadians], when she came here, in order to allow her to stay longer [she's no degree]. He's going back, and she's staying. wants to get rid of this "marriage" in country before they part ways.
I am not asking about the embassies, certainly not the UK one, as I am American, and they're Canadian. They come from Montreal and Ontario respectively, [they met in Montreal U. and she's taken a year off to get teaching experience], so a divorce at a provincial court, if I understand one of the answers correctly, is out of the question.
Does anyone know how to get an anullment divorce in Korea? |

You mean like Koreans do?
Simple. Go to your local law court, pick up 3 forms to fill it. Hand over your ID cards and arrange for a time to meet a judge. Go see judge, judge asks if the two agree to divorce, both say yes. He puts his rubber stamp on and it's finished.
That's how Koreans do it. Will it work for foreigners? Who knows. |

I know, when I heard about it I asked them why they didn't just get a multiple tourist visa and get a multi trip ferry card for the BumbleBee.
Of course, with the KAFTA visa regs, not only Canadians, but also Americans will come here on endless tourist visas.

I knew an American girl back in the day who married a Greek guy for $10,000.00. She's dead, of course. |
