OK I have a couple of questions about the new E2 regs.

1. Do I have to get a heath certificate from my home country?

2. What kind of health information are they looking for?

3. Am I going to have to repeat this every time I get a new visa? Or is this a once-off thing?

4. Any idea how long it takes to do the interview if I drive to Las Angeles?

1) NO. You fill in a self assessment form for your health. You get here and then have to have a medical at an approved hospital. If you FAIL the medical (ie: have a communicable disease or show drug use) you will get sent home at your own expense.

2) see 1).

3) Lord only knows. Possibly or unless there are significant changes at the immigration office, YES.

4) It should only take about 15 minutes. There is a copy of the questionair posted in one of the other NEW E2 REGs threads.

A. Out of state applicants can apply for a waiver regarding in-person interview requirement by contacting our visa department at 213-385-9300 ext. 45. However, such waiver will be granted after case-by-case review.

I think we can probably make an educated guess as you and I have probably seen (or at least I have) 3 - 4 different changes occur and each required it to be done more than once.

Therefore I am not really concerned anymore.

I don't care if I fail to be reaccepted into Koreas wheel of uncertainty and shiite.
