you guys are crazy, just because some one is rich it doesn't make them evil, usually they have worked very hard to get there and that is their reward. The don't have to share it with anyone, but if they do good for them!
But jelous ones will envy, thats all that i seem to see in this thread.
In addition charity is not something you have to do in secret, by publisising it he is raising awareness of the problem and would encourage other to help, he has also been lobbying governements for action too. |

It's not an either/or.
You don't get to the top without knocking people out of your way. Fact of life. And doing charity work after the fact does not redeem you for past bad behavior. Which Gates is well known to have done a lot of to get where he is.
Again, charity is not a "get out of jail free" card even though most seem to view it as so. |

Gates = YAWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Lot's of people are members of the lucky sperm club but his connections had far less to do with his accomplishmnets than did his genius. He skipped steps in putting together certain things, with the full confidence he could fill in the blanks later, and pulled it off.
He and a handful of others changed the whole world in immeasurable ways.
Now, he and his wife's foundation pours billions of dollars (their own, and contributors) into projects that help humanity world-wide.
Hey, each to his own. But he's not a yawn to me.

Car phone? Who the hell has a car phone these days? |

It's funny how he can be called lame by someone who has not accomplished even 1% of what he has done.

Yup.
And "take Dad's advice and sue everyone who gets in your way."
Gates is mediocre at best. |
