Anyone know if there are any Dell coupons floating about?
Wanted ASUS, but no English OS.
Ive basically settled for the Dell XPS m1313 because they will provide an English OS and it looks to be a good little machine. |

No one buys Dell? Any other legit options to get an English OS that I'm not aware of? |

I bought a Latitude D600 few years ago. Ordered it online complete with English OS. No problems with it at all so far. |

I bought m1330 www.dell.co.kr , but I had to return in after it broke down in weeks. If you're thinking about buying a new laptop (of any brand) go and see what people think about it. Here's the forum for DELL. The new XPS 1530 looks quite interesting. |

I've never seen any coupons that will work with Dell Korea. The USA ones don't work, and I can't find any for Dell Asia-Pacific (which is the umbrella organization that Dell Korea operates under). |

whyd yours break down.
Im hearing good things about the m1330, which is why Im trying to get it. Right now Dell Korea is giving you free 1g ram (2 gb total) and 125 gb HDD (250 gb total). |

It just suddenly died on me and didn't boot up anymore. Didn't even "promise". I tried with two different batteries, the charger and all possible combinations of them. Nada. Even the tech guy who came to take a look at it, couldn't fix it.
Until it died on me, I was pretty happy with it. M1330 is light, powerful and has a good battery life, too. I also liked the optional fingerprint reader. It also helped that I might be one of the 1st owners of a red model in the world. In that other forum I posted, too many people have complains about this model. Most are complaining about the "CPU whine" or bad assembly (pieces don't fit together that well). Go and take a look around.
But if you end up getting this, I hope that you'll have a better luck than I did. Go for red color, it's really nice! (My previous laptop was also red - Acer Ferrari 3200. Good luck!
My specs were: T7300, LED screen, fingerprint reader, 160GB, 2GB, n-draft, Win Home Premium, BT, 6 and 9 cell batteries. In Korea they will not give you that remote control like they do in the US, or at least I did not get it. |

Is it possible to order from Dell Canada or US?
You can get it much cheaper there than from Dell Korea. Some M1330's could be had for less than a $1000 with the right deals and rebates.
Dell Korea offers none of the above (or none that Ive seen or heard of). |

I work a lot with Dell. My office buys all dell equipment mostly.
Personally I like Dells service here in Korea. They always have had same day service or at the very least the next day if I call in late.
I have had a few Dell laptops and never had anything major go wrong. Just once a DVD drive that conked out just before warrenty, so lucky me.
I currently have a Dell D830, pretty good system. |

talked to Dell. Alot of those coupons and rebates are country specific and are decided by region.
Dell Korea just doesnt want to provide coupons or rebates. |

So, you are interested in a Dell based upon coupons and rebates? There are many good deals to be had in Korea on laptops other than Dell without coupons/rebates if you know how to smart shop the electronics markets. I think maybe you are dead set on a Dell, however. Good luck on your endeavor, regardless. |

The coupons I've seen for DELL are often tied to ads in newspapers and ad shoppers of different types around Seoul. They are typically on a certain style or model, and don't offer any exceptional savings. |

yes, considering this particular model had $799.00 in savings at Dell USA. I dont know about you, but $800 is a big enough difference for me to be a little agitated about. |

Does anyone know where in Seoul you can take your Dell in to be fixed? I'm still on the warranty. |
