I think if the West needs to learn one lesson , it is to stay out of other countries affairs.

I think the word "West" here is being used incorrectly.

Let's look at the USA, not the West.

Should the USA stay out of other countries? Lately, yes, of course.

Should the USA stay our of Darfur? Nope, those people need help.

Should the USA have stayed out of Korea or leave? Well, do you like a communist invasion?

yeah. I'm not talking about recent history just the stance that we know better and everyone should live their lives according to our principles.
