The cat is welcome to hang with the rabbit, but must use his own litter box.

The rabbit is not good at spider hunting. I have tried to train him, but he has no interest. The cat is welcome, really, I just signed on for another year. That should give you time to sort your situation out and reunite with your cat.

Yes, that is one of the interesting twists of the new regs.

Obviously, you would need a pet sitter. But how many people are going to pet sit if it might become permanent?

I've got an idea! Leave your pet with your school for the students to take care of.

Good point.

If it comes to that, check out the www.lonelylifetime.com forums for people willing to pet sit, there are usually a few.
