I've seen a nice apartment in Sindaebang and was wondering if anyone had any experience of what it's like to live in that area. Are there any foreigner bars etc.
Also how much is it to buy one of the Korean style bed/matresses? The apartment isn't really big enough to fit in a full double bed.
And finally does anyone know if you can buy wall mounts for televisions in Korea? It would save alot of space.
Thanks for any help you can give. |

I live about a 10 minute walk from the Sindaebang station. There definitely aren't as many foreign friendly restaurants and bars there, but check out Sillim which is really close--there are tons of restaurants and bars where the waiters can speak a little English or at least have some English on the menus. Sindaebang station area pretty much only has Korean food with a few bars. Sillim has a couple Italian restaurants, plus a handful of Japanese/sushi and Chinese places. |
