I was wondering if any would be up for a regular weekly meet-up on battlenet for some games.
I dont' have my own computer but this game is on all the computers at the PC방s so I've been playing it quite a bit. I've got a couple of friends who play it but they never practice so they can't really give me much of a game. I've tried playing on Bnet against random Koreans but I find the level out there is a little too high. Also I think it would be more fun to play the same people regularly.

I think only Koreans play this game nowadays. You're best bet is to find a few English speakers to play with.

I used to play this game with Korean friends a few years ago but I don't play anymore.

in the the meanwhile, if you want to play people at your level, you should label your game as: "Cho-Bo-Man" which means "Beginners only". You'll probably find that even Korean beginners will probably still give you a good game.

Even the 초보 games I've joined have been too good lol. I do have English-speaking friends who will play sometimes but as I said their level isn't good enough for me anymore as Ive put in more practice than them. I wanted to set up games with other English-speakers who aren't absolute noobs but aren't too 고수 either.

Send me a PM. Me and some of my friends play occasionally, so I'll send you my MSN. Dunno about playing regularly, we all have our own computers and play 2142 as our regular game.

I don't understand the attraction to a game that is over a decade old.

Because its such an amazing game! Best multi-player RTS ever IMO. And well the whole pro-gaming scene keeps it alive and relevant. Try watching it on TV sometime those guys are just amazing with their level of skill. Warcraft 3's is pretty good too but not quite as fun IMO because the supply limit is lower so it keeps the army sizes smaller and it doesn't work quite as well as a spectator sport.
