Hmmm, this might make a wonderful gift for my ex-boss.
Any idea where I could get some?
But let's assume for the moment, if we could, that these gifts are for people I actually like. |

A gift set of Spam.
A gift set of bondeggi.
Jokes aside, I head to one of the pottery shops or tea shops when I shop for gifts to send abroad.

I bought some friends at home their name carved into the wooden signature stamps in hangul and they liked the novelty of it.

lacquerware stuff is nice. i got a lacquerware jewelry box for my mom, and everyone back home thought it was really neat. they cost around W45,000 and up, you can find them in most insadong and itaewon gift shops. |

My friends seem to like those W15,000 blankets that every market area has. Also, metal chopsticks/spoon sets are very Korean. Last but not least, get the small bottles/juice boxes of soju. |
