It's the 4g, white, with the webcam (not the 'surf'). I brought it back with me from the Phils.. cost about 380,000 won. I added a little more ram, and am now looking around for a big sd card and a usb DMB adapter to watch TV on.
The attraction? Yeah, it's the size of a big PDA... but it's a real computer. You can play games, install any and all software you've been using your whole life without any worry about some weird stripped-down OS or funky hardware. It's really quiet. It's cheap. It's not slow (actually quite snappy). You can plug it in to a projector and give a presentation, you can wirelessly surf the internet anywhere... and it doen't weigh a ton. It really is what a 'laptop' should be. |

Agreed. I don't see a place for a sub-sub-notebook in today's market. VERY soon (the next generation) all notebooks are going to have solid-state storage.
Sorry, but this thing seems so gimmiky to me, and I can't see it having much computing power compared to a real small notebook. |

Because they're bigger, heavier, more expensive, noisier, worse battery life...
I take mine with me wherever I go. I don't have to worry too much about it. It's got enough grunt to do pretty much anything I need. What's not to like? It's also great for travelling...
Oh well, I guess it's not for you guys then. I really like mine - it's far more than a 'gimmick'. |

Don't pay attention to the haters, IlIlNine. Ask them how much it costs to buy a PC with wifi, a webcam, and a decent keyboard that can fit in a jacket pocket that's not the eee PC. The draw on this machine is its size--all other similar-size UMPC's cost more than a grand. |
