Buddhism Under Siege In South Korea

Quote:
There has always been the burning of temples by extreme Koreans.

Theres also a video on youtube showing Korea's recently elected president showing his support for a Christian gathering, after which it shows the group (the president isn't participating) prays for the success of churches in different regions and the destruction of temples in the same region.

They go through a long list of towns, showing the number of churches and temples there.

Ain't going nowhere, really, other than to state that the topic would e.g make for an interesting sociology paper.

i also can't help but wonder how many Korean church-goers & so-called "Christians" are at all embarassed or ashamed when such hate-fuelled attacks occur.

What would Jesus do?

Hmmm....interesting topic.

OK, well...........Koreans really do not question authority. If the boss says "I am driving off this cliff, and taking all of you with me", they will not stop him. So, when Koreans who have positions of power through their weight around, the rest will ultimately follow.

Korea is just a few steps away from becoming like its big brother, China.

What would Jesus, do?

Well, in the end it does not matter what Jesus would do........what matters is what YOU would do.
