Canon users,
The download for the G9 manual online doesn't give you the same format of that small book size manual that you get when you buy the camera.
I asked my salesman if they had any English manuals and he just looked at me like I was from the planet Zenoa. Anyway, wife gave him my business card, wrote down her phone number too, and told him to order it. He said he would, but I'm making a backup plan. Anyone know where it's available in English...for cash? Thanks.

get online and find the phone number for the singapore or hong kong office and ask them to post you a copy. That's what I did a few years ago. |

Sorry I can't help with the manual but how is the camera?
I'm thinking of purchasing a G9 too.
How much did you pay for it, and where from?
Thanks and good luck with the manual. |

Pix nix or Pix dix in myong dong. Coworker looked up on a comparing prices.com Korean website and found it. It's an awesome camera, for me. Step up from G7 is the RAW format availability, but most important was the larger lcd at 3.0, ISO settings...but I'm no professional, so it won't really matter much anyway.
Aesthetics - yes, very nice camera. Steel body feels very good in your hands, but light enough to one hand shots without pain. Very cool.
That pix dix place gave me a leather case, a storage memory usb reader, 2 extra batteries and a 2 gig card for 500,000 won.
The internet price on their website was 453,000 - but when I got there, there were two prices. For 1 gig of ram, you could pay 490,000 instead of 2 gigs of ram at 500,000. |
