Anyone know the policy of Korea Costcos for returning products?

In the U.S., it's no questions asked, no time limit, as far as I know, for most stuff - not computer or camera gear, though.

I bought a Rival electric oven TO606 from Costco for 159,000 won. While I am pretty desperate for a decent electric oven in Korea, this one wasn't worth it.

It gets dubious reviews, some saying that after using it for awhile the knobs become impossible to turn. My gripe is there is no setting for only turning on the bottom heating element. Even in the basic cook mode the top element comes on at least part of the time, causing too much browning on top for some foods.

And it's not all that big. Oh, and it is A LOT cheaper in the States:

So can a return an item like this that has been used a bit but is clean? I am not sure how soon I will be able to get back there, as it is quite a distance. Anyone with first-hand knowledge of this?

And while we're at it, anyone find a decent electric oven online in Korea that doesn't as much as a flat screen TV? Anything large enough to cook a loaf of bread or chicken would be OK.

Thanks for the polite, informative responses!

Yeah, just return it. No questions asked.

I did that last week with an Elizabeth Arden eye cream I bought and used a few times. I developed an allergic reaction and took it back. They didn't ask any question - not even what was wrong with it..

So you can just take it back.

Their return policy is posted on a big billboard at the customer service counter. 100% refund - no questions asked.

On the warranty sign it does say something about contacting the manufacturer for returns on some things, and I had the woman at the counter try to refuse to take back some shoes I'd bought that had fallen completely apart two months after I bought them, but some persistence on my part eventually got her to issue the refund.
