Hey, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in forming a very casual anime club... As in just getting together maybe once a week to every two weeks and watching some episodes of something we've picked out...

I've been watching Death Note online, and as much as I enjoy having anime to watch by myself, I miss having others around too!!!

Of course, we can figure out the details later if people are interested, but I'd like to put it out there that I'm not into English dubs or super long fighting series like dbz...

Ok well get back to me if you'd be interested in forming a group ok? I live in between Gangnam and Apgujeong, but my place isn't really the best place to meet so I'm willing to meet up at other places...

I look forward to hearing from you!!! Thanks!

oh... -_-;

I wasn't implying dvd bang or anything like that... I just meant someone else's place b/c I don't have a dvd player and I'm stealing internet access so it's not always reliable...
So actually, if no one wants to host, then perhaps dvd bang is actually a good idea, but only if there's limited amount of people... like 5 or something, but I'm not sure if people other than couples go to dvd bang????

Well we can sure give it a try. DVD rooms are pretty comfy, nice lighting, and a big screen.

I'm kind of disappointed w/ the lack of anime supporters... but oh well...

So yeah, I guess we have a club if it's just two, right??? Only problem w/ dvd bang is that it necessarily has to be a dvd... case in point, I just got done watching Death Note, which was all online...

Ok well you should just pm me (I can't b/c I don't have enough posts -_-Wink and we can work out details and what not!!!

http://www.crunchyroll.com/

Pay the fee for the high quality streams. If its licensed then your best bet is www.boxtorrents.com

I have terabyteS of Anime. Lately, I've been too busy to watch though.

Btw... perhaps I should also mention that I'm a cute asian girl (if you couldn't tell the sex by my name...) in an effort to get more people interested???
I realize that the stereotype of the anime fan is usually a lanky, pale, computer gamer guy, but that's ok!! That's the environment I'm accustomed to! Just please have social skills...
Anyways, I'd like to encourage girls that are interested in anime, even if it's just a slight interest, to contact me too, as it's hard to come by other female fans...

Also, pkang: got any good suggestions for more recent anime??? What genres are you into?

I sent you a PM. I haven't had much time to watch anything this season. I usually like comedy series but I'll get into all of the genres. I read the Death Note manga and saw most of the Anime. Although, I think reading the manga ruined the Anime for me.

Ah too bad I wasn't living in Seoul still I'd watch a bit. I brought a huge pile of my dvds from back home with me, so I think I got like close to 200 anime ones. Barely touched em for years to be honest, though I did pick up and watch a bit of Ranma couple weeks back.
