| 32 books in eleven months. Some of them were killers, some were pure pleasure. Herotodus The Histories was tedious, but educational...all the Best American Short Stories / Mysteries were great. Brian Greene The Elegant Universe was just a hard read. |

The price has likely dropped on books since you left. With the Canuck dollar at parity with the US, there's been a lot of pressure on book retailers |

Well...pretty addicted here. I generally have 3 or 4 on the go. And I'll usually finish them within maybe a 10 day period before I start a new set. So, let's say 10 a month, normally
120/year
then holidays and stuff, I'll sometimes read a book a day. Another 30?
150! |

I wish I had as much time as some people on this board.
That said I've probably read around 30 books this year, maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less.
I tend to read books that are pretty thick though. I like em epic. |

Where do you get all these books? |
I read pretty much anything I can find. A lot of classics, psychology, philosophy, classics. Actually, not that many are crap, I'm just a pretty fast reader and have an extremely easy on the hours job. (Like 15 hours a week...plenty of vacation!)
Where do I get them?
I swap books by mail with people on here.
I have some friends that I borrow from
I work at a uni with a good selection of English books
My roommates
I brought a lot from home.
Online books (some free)
Whatthebook: I trade 'em in. |

Yeah. I wouldn't think BS. My largest monthly amount on my credit card is usually books and I read everything from textbooks to mainstream fiction, to fantasy, to philosophy to, well, whatever is there. |

| I've definitely learned not to be choosy in Korea in terms of what books I read! Anything cheap or free is a possibility. |

I'd say close to 20, but January through Paril 2007 were slow months.
I've been reading a lot of non-fiction which is a new trend that started with a _A Strange Piece of Paradise_-once I finsh _Perfume_ that will be the end of that-I also read the sonnets a lot.
princess, I want to read you sonnet 47 at Hooters tomorrow for Christmas dinner. |

I'm home in Canada for Christmas and was actually kind of disturbed by the prices. I went to the "classics" section at Chapters and found that they were like all 7000 0r 8000 won. Even at Kyobo in Korea, they're like 5900 won (with no tax!). So not cool, I was hoping to stock up when I was here but I think I'll wait until I get back to Korea. |

| In the past three months about 30, and the full run up to now (average of 75 issues) of about nine different comics. I quit my job and gave up my apartment to come to Korea, then the new registration stuff happened, and I'm lazy, so I have a lot of reading time. |
