i think bit cities like NY, LA and san fran. have the distinct advantage of ATTRACTING beautiful girls from all around the country. If you asked where all the beautiful women were born and grew up, I can't imagine that they would all say Ny or whathave you.
So, instead of going with big cities, try some smaller ones
ie:
Compare Edmonton AB to....uh... Montgomery AL
or Kamloops to Anchorage
or
St. John's NFL to Bowling Green KT
etc...
i can't say i know many/any american young women intimately, or basically, at all. Canadian girls are sort of all over the map, but in the one's i know, they are pretty damn self assured and empowered. Usually they use that in a good way, sometime not. Again, the one's that i know, are pretty humble at the same time; i don't think i've EVER met a woman who takes much guff. If someguy is being a jerk they tell 'im to piss off.
I sometimes get impressions that a few people here (while attempting to purport the opposite) would really like the barefoot in the kitchen, subserviant housewife. Am i wrong or am i wrong? |

Yeah.. thats my impression of American women as well..
I'm in San Diego temporarily.. and tonight I went to Tijuana.. lots of Mexican girls dancing on tables.. you know the picture.. anyhow, tons of Americans down there too.. and the American girls get into it!! A group of them got up on the stage starting dancing themselves and they looked great!!
Then the bars.. some bars in New York.. just regular girls.. there is one bar I use to go too.. alot of the customers.. just regular girls.. they'd dance on the table.. and on top of the bar had tons of bras from previous customers.. don't know why they do it.. but kind of tradition at this one place..
then there is Spring Break.. tons descend on Mexico & Florida.. etc. etc.
anyhow.. just thinking.. i notice australians are kind of like that too..
I'm not sure if Canadians would do that? would they? not so sure..
anyhow.. i was just thinking about that tonight.. hate to draw differences.. and they are quite similar.. so maybe canadian girls would? not so sure.. hmm.. something to ponder.. |
American girls are not the only ones that go south to party. I remember going on a reading week vacation to Mazatland not all that long ago. I know many other Canadian girls who have gone on party weeks like that as well. |

Actually I don't either. I'm guilty of starting this post about 8-9 months ago. Since that time I've come to the conclusion that all English-speaking women as well as all English-speaking men have tons of similarities and things in common. I really can't make any generalizations whatsoever. |

I think Larry King Live's tribute to Dean Martin on CNN tonight summed it up.
That's it! Right? Dino?
Right? |

How can anyone make a massive generalization about over 135,000,000 women in America. There are over 16,000,000 women in Canada, this topic is absurd. Can you imagine how many women you would have to sample to make a credible comparison. Even then, I think from the small number of women I've known, everyone is unique. It depends on the person NOT THE NATIONALITY! Get a clue.... |

American Woman

--- Lead Guitar ---
American Woman, stay away from me
American Woman, mama let me be
Don't come a hangin' around my door
I don't wanna see your face no more
I got more important things to do
Than spend my time growin' old with you
Now Woman, I said stay away
American Woman, listen what I say-ay-ay-ay-ay-ay
--- Lead Guitar ---
American Woman, get away from me
American Woman, mama let me be
Don't come a knockin' around my door
Don't wanna see your shadow no more
Coloured lights can hypnotize
Sparkle someone else's eyes
Now Woman, I said get away
American Woman, listen what I say-ay-ay-ay
--- Lead Guitar Solo ---
American Woman, said get away
American Woman, listen what I say
Don't come a hangin' around my door
Don't wanna see your face no more
I don't need your war machines
I don't need your ghetto scenes
Coloured lights can hypnotize
Sparkle someone else's eyes
Now Woman, get away from me
American Woman, mama let me be
Go, gotta get away, gotta get away now go, go, go
I'm gonna leave you woman
Gonna leave you woman
Bye-bye Bye-bye Bye-bye Bye-bye
You're no good for me
I'm no good for you
Gonna look you right in the eye
Tell you what I'm gonna do
You know I'm gonna leave
You know I'm gonna go
You know I'm gonna leave
You know I'm gonna go-o, woman
I'm gonna leave you woman
Goodbye American Woman
Goodbye American chick |

Anti-Americanism from Canadians in catchy pop form!
Some of us try to block out Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman from collective memory. It makes life more soothing.
Cheers,
Joe
PS: Once the unfairly imprisoned Tommy Chong gets released I want to contact him and encourage both he and Cheech Marins to start up a poster campaign for Can-Am unity. |

for real odysseus?
man, it's light hearted. just a joke.
no one will go out there hunting down american ladies cause their "loose" or avoid canadian women cause there "uptight".
EVERYONE knows that it's just personal experience, i guess the sheer number of peope who've said "I've met", "I've seen" "I've dated", has made you dizzy. |

American women vs. Canadian women? |
I feel the only way we can solve this problem is to slap some bikinis on them, oil them up, and let them cat-fight it out.
All in the name of science, of course.
Who's with me on this? |

They both seem to be overweight...especially the ones in Korea.
Oops, stereotype. |

Not only that, quite a few of the fat ones think they're hot or something, especially when a non-Korean foreigner goes over to talk to them and stuff. |
