Sylvester Stallone has written, and will direct Vigo Mortensen (LOTR, Eastern Promises) as Edgar Allen Poe in the movie Poe.

As a director, Stallone is not bad, but as a writer his best work has been Rocky and Cliffhanger. We'll see if he's able to pull this off.
