Looks fairly nice, but you're not really going to gig with a 20w amp are you? Also, the price seems REALLY high for a 20w amp. I think I could get like a vox valvetronix 30w for that price and those things are awesome. |

This amp get very loud though I would mic it at low volume for the best sound quality. Use the P.A. to up your volume. I just purchased it for 150,000 KRW if you wan to make an offer thats fine. It sounds like a Roland Cube 20 for example. |

(Shakes head)
Roland Cube is top-of-the-line for this market.
Best of luck with this. |

if you're depending on the PA for stage volume, you might as well just plug directly into the soundboard and use the stage monitors... this is certainly NOT an amp for gigging... this is a bedroom practice amp!
FYI: solid state and tube 'wattage' ratings are NOT equivalent! you need about 3X the solid state wattage to equal tube wattage... a 20 watt TUBE amp might be loud enough for a small stage, but 20 solid state watts is definitely not!
comparing this amp to a roland cube is a joke... |

You obviously are looking to get into a debate about technology, but I'm just trying to sell this amp. This amp is just like the Cube 20. http://www.guitarcenter.com/Roland-Cube-20X-Guitar-Combo-Amplifier-487031-i1169243.gc
I have owned one. I am pretty sure you will not be playing any gigs in Korea that would require anything louder. You are right about one thing, though, it was designed for practice. Though I have seen people use them on the streets of Venice L.A. and in Japan. In a small establishment mic-ing the amp would suffice without having to turn it up loud or sacrifice sound quality(including the effects quality). Nowadays solid state works and sounds better then tube amps. I have played through Marshalls, Hi-watts, Laneys, Jazz chrus 120, Cube 20's, etc... This little baby rocks for the price. I hope you find the amp you are looking for. Try to find a Line 6 you will never go back after using a Flextone III.

i'm just making sure you don't get away with saying BS like:
-you don't need anything louder than this to play gigs (gigs with a drummer? not a chance)
-solid state works and SOUNDS better than tube amps (have you ever played a decent tube amp? trust me, you'll never go back to solid state)
i'm sure it's a good practice amp, just don't try to sell it as something it's not! someone looking to buy this kind of amp would likely be a beginner without a lot of guitar amp knowledge, who might actually believe everything you're saying (see above)... |
