I tried a soup made with goat meat. It was really tasty a lot like Poshintang.

Some say it's tasty but I found it too gamey and tough.

Others say it's tender.

But I'd say that if it was sold more commercially it might reflect people's choices in savory meat products, meaning it's probably a lot like horsemeat or bear.

The meat of a Goat has a particular taste that when cooked badly can be quit disgusting.

I walked by this place at the stadium in Beijing. I think it was the
Northwest corner. I thought it was a pig carcass at first, but I looked
again when I saw the live goat tied up at the fence.

A big portion of my trip to China was finding meat that wasn't pork.

I worked with a young lady from Kenya before. Her brother had gone up to a local farm, bought a goat, and slaughtered it himself. They grilled it up and she brought it in for her dinner that night. She offered me some, which made me a bit hesitant, but I relented.

Best G-Dam grilled meat I have probably ever eaten. I even considered (heaven forbid) marrying a black African just so I could eat that for the rest of my days.

I often order goat at quality Indian restaurants. Yum yum.

Absolutely. Yeah I've had grilled goat before and it was delicious.

Had some raw horse recently in Japan. I was tricked into eating it(was told it was tuna sushi) but it turned out to be fantastic.

Was offered raw chicken at a later stage but had to draw the line, even if it was good its gotta be dangerous.

Yeah, Moroccan style baked/bbq goat is good. It's kind of weird eating with your hands out of a big communal dish though.

Roast goat is good - tastes a bit like mutton. Goat rissoles are good too Smile

Absolutely. It tastes like a gamey lamb. In parts of India and China they actually use the word mutton interchangeably to mean both goat and lamb meat.

I know of a Chinese mutton restaurant in Dongdaemun that has a goat on it's sign but haven't plucked up the courage to go in.
