Anybody know if UFC is being carried on SkyLife this weekend (or have the live events been in the past?)
Was gonna go to a friends house to watch it, but he has SkyLife sattelite, which doesn't have SuperAction (the channel which live UFC events are shown on normal Korean cable).
Anybody here have SkyLife and watch live UFC on it? |

I don't think Sky Life carries "Super Action", and that's the one this event is on.
Many motels have big-screen TVs that have Super Action, and you could probably rent a room for a few hours for like ten bucks - if you can communicate with the front desk clerk ... |

Thanks. I knew that Super Action wasn't on Sky Life, but wasn't sure if maybe it was being shown on another channel that was included in the package.
I'll probably end up watching it at home in my bedroom on my shitty 14" TV while my girlfriend sleeps off her hangover in the bed next to me.... ahh well, it's still free I guess! |

Can't believe Liddell tipped over Silva. I haven't seen the fight yet but heard the judges gave it to Liddell.
Naturally the Pride fans are spewing vinegar over the UFC judges decision. |

Wasn't even close. Liddel destroyed Silva.
And GSP took it to Matt and won in the second round. |

Man, BOTH my key predictions were wrong. I suck at this game! I really thought Silva's wrestling would force Liddell into a takedown/submission but they went toe-to-toe and Liddell *definitely* came out on top.
GSP really went HARD in that match. I had this match for Hughes; he had more time to train and a lot of strategy. His jiujitsu was just way outclassed, though, and GSP ran away with it; GSP stuffed Hughes' takedowns and DOMINATED the round. I have to give Hughes credit for resisting the massive force of GSP on the ground; I really thought he would try to hold out for another 6 seconds to force a 3rd round, but man, how brutal. Then again, didn't he submit GSP in their first match with only one second remaining? To Hughes' mark, I can't believe he lasted that long even though GSP had a full mount twice AND a back mount. That's some serious skill and stamina.
Geogres St-Pierre, though -- man, what a classy winner. |

Yeah, a total class act.
Man, he is so strong. I can't wait to see him fight Fitch. After that I really can't see any other competition. I have to believe that he is going to destroy Serra this time. |
