I recently stayed in a Seoul hotel which had star world as channel, but I have never seen it offered in any cable package here. Also, the star tv website doesn't list it as an available channel in Korea. Does anyone here have it?

I am really interested in getting a slingbox, but my family live in East Coast Canada - with a twelve hour time difference. If I hook up a slingbox with them, will I only be able to watch morning programming in the evenings here? In other words, is it real time streaming tv, or is there any program record option with slingbox?

Sling box stream exactly what your tv connected to it is playing. What you need to do is get tivo or a DVR and record shows you want to watch and then just watch those since most evenings you will be seeing infomercials and news programs. Also if for some then you are stuck watching what they are. reason someone at home is watching the tv, you are stuck watching what they are.
