Seriously, though, moderation in all things. Have a smoke or two, just not the whole pack. That's easy to do here, though. It's colder than suckable parts of a witch here, and I have to go outside to smoke. Stupid non-smokers. |

No... smart non-smokers.

| What is that strange picture? A lung? A smoker with its nads frozen off? A nad with its smoker frozen off? A hideously burnt GI Joe doll? |

Here's some motivation to quit.....
My mother had been smoking since she was 15.
Now she is 50, she has lung and heart problems. She needs blood thinner to prevent bloodclots in her veins. She has a deteriorating hip and knee and needs a walker to get around.
This year, I had to push her around in a wheelchair to help her do some christmas shopping.
Some of her ailments could've been prevented if she stopped smoking.
Does she stop? Hell no! Actually she smokes more now than she did when she was in her 20's.
Am I saying this will happen to everyone who smokes 'til an old age? By all means, no. Many people can smoke and have absolutely no health problems right away. But sooner or later, it will catch up with them. |

yeah, *beep* off! i smoke, too!
...but, if you had the stress i experience, every goddam day, on an inhumane level, you'd be puffin' those Marlboros and suckin' that Jack down like a young, buck-toothed, Haitian hooker at a bankers' orgy...no? |

I started (part-time) when I was about 12. I quit this summer. 30 years.
I am so very very happy I did.
Downside. I have to suck in my belly to see my d*&#. I can lose the belly, I can't grow a new lung. |

LOL!!! Aww man, that made my afternoon. I smoke, too. I hardly do in the US, but coming here just gives me reasons to smoke (kids, crazy co-teacher) |
