The current employee has written to tell me he's givven his notice, being the 5th "early departure" in the past 12 months.
The school frequently changes names, but I will upload more details as far as the actual address, as well as pictures.
From all accounts I have heard it fits the bill of an all round bad school.
Moldy, dirty, leaking, frozen apartment.
Teaching is done in frozen classrooms, without so much as a tape recorder. It's so cold that I showed up to work wearing gloves, and still shivered!
The director, Lee Sei Woo. fits the bill of dishonest, disrespectfull, and rude, Yam Jam Nim.
Monitors the class by video, but also walks in every other lesson, and then told me what to do [this is my 3rd year teaching ESL, I think I know what I am doing by now].
The director lied to me, he kept my passport for a month, and only threatening to go to the police got it back. My pension pay, medical, are all deducted, but none of it was paid, and as I unders all deducted, but none of it was paid, and as I understand, nor has the new employee's.
This is why people say bad things about working in Korea.

There doesn't really have to be a "because"....... he/she is simply posting a bad working situation. |

When I originally went online searching for any refference regards the school, there was nothing to be found, and I want to make sure that's no longer the case.
As a fact, after I got my pay for the month, I threatened him with a police visit to retrieve my visa, and then walked out.
He in turn, threatened that he'd call Immigration regards breach of contract, and to have me barred from the country. That of course did not happen, and I have a proper employer now. |

My pension deductions, all 4.5% of them which were "deducted" monthly, have never made it to the NPS offices.
I spoke with the office, which said there's nothing they can do, and that I can go to court and sue them, but nothing much else. |
