Who did you vote for in 2004?

Which one?

Tweedledee or Tweedledum?

I don't think I could vote for McCain. He's a bit more right-wing than he gets portrayed in the media. But he's a heartening combination between a fact-based realist and an idealist who refuses to bow to political expediency. Is there anyone better on the Republican side?

That's an interesting question.

"Is there anyone better on the Republican side?"

If I were a registered Republican, and couldn't vote Democratic or for Ron Paul, that would be a really hard question. Seems like a definite 'lesser of evils' vote.

Thinking that way, maybe McCain really is the only choice. Although he does seem fairly washed up and 'loser' on the forehead to me personally. He's now the Bob Dole of the Republican Party. McCain's just a little too old, etc.

Oh, yeah?

Online funding for McCain up 500%

Well , I hope he is. I have never liked the guy but I am sure that if the powers to be want him in , he will get in. The folks with the money that control the United States could indeed get 500% more money , or whatever figure they think they need.

Like Joe Kennedy said when his son Jack was elected to the Senate, " I could have got my driver elected for the money I spent"

McCain , in my opinion is no more deserving of national office, especially the POTUS.
